I was born in Manitoba (Treaty 1), raised in Alberta (Treaty 6), and am a Métis Nation of Alberta citizen now living on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (kwikwetlem) in Port Coquitlam, BC.

As a freelance editor, my focus is on working with Indigenous authors and non-Indigenous authors writing in direct collaboration with Indigenous communities. For academic texts, I prefer working in Chicago or APA style. My approach to working with authors is gentle and friendly. More on my experience here: https://edifiedprojects.com/team/editing-experience/.

As the Founder and lead of Edified Projects, I'm proud to lead a Canadian Council for Indigenous Business certified Indigenous business and am a member of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce in metro Vancouver. I have an MA in Anthropology and Humanities Computing, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and Certificates in Agile Leadership (UBC) and Human Resource Management (UofC).
