Dr. Shaun Hains a consultant with the Global Clinical Practice Network is also a member of the Otipemisiwak Métis Nation. As an indigenous person I have worked successfully within health and education. I received the Inspiring Woman of Color award from the American Psychology Association, as well as the Emory Cowen Award for promoting wellness in the community. I was a National Aboriginal Teacher of the Year Award Winner with the Canadian Teachers' Federation. My early consulting work was with the Tri-Council Canada, including the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and the Canadian Institute of Health Research. Now consulting with the Global Clinical Practice Network with the WHO - World Health Organization. The ethics of Self Determination, holistic ways of health, an Indigenous place with an eagle feather includes the ethics of Inclusion. Recent work to allow the congruence with the land to go forward into a dialogue about health. I am an avid nature photographer, while enjoying family time. My work continues to be recognized within leading scholarly works.
